THE HAUNTED HISTORY OF POASTTOWN
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Poasttown Elementary School opened in 1937 and served the surrounding community for more than sixty years before closing in 2000. For generations, the building was a place of learning, discipline, and comfort for the students and educators who spent their days here.
Why Poasttown is haunted remains unknown.
What many investigators believe, however, is that spirits often return to places where they felt happiest, safest, or most connected. For many children and teachers, Poasttown may have been exactly that.
But the history surrounding the property extends beyond the school itself.
Behind the building lies land marked by tragedy. Two separate train accidents occurred nearby, both resulting in fatalities. With no hospitals close to the area at the time, the land behind the school was used as a makeshift triage site where the injured and dying were brought after the accidents.
Additionally, nearby gravel pits have claimed lives over the years, and water, often believed to amplify paranormal energy, runs through the history of this location.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
iS THIS A GUIDED INVESTIGATION?
No. While we provide a flashlight tour and introduction, the investigation itself is free-roam so guests can explore the building at their own pace. If you're looking for a guided option, we will be adding tickets for that soon!
DO I NEED EXPERIENCE OR EQUIPMENT?
No experience is required. Guests are welcome to bring their own paranormal investigation equipment, but it is not necessary to participate.
WHAT IS THE AGE LIMIT TO INVESTIGATE?
We reccomend 13 and up with a parent or guardian present at all times.
