It took a little while for Darrell and Brenda to realize that something unexplained lingered in the building. When they first moved in, they had issues with vandals breaking in, so they installed cameras. Construction had started upstairs as they had planned to live up there, when the workers started seeing a little girl! Darrell thought they were messing with him, and didn't believe them until he finally saw her for himself.

One day, Brenda started to see a man pacing in their bedroom closet. When she went in to go check it out, the door slammed shut, locking her inside. Darrell had to take the door off the hinges to get her out. Strange sounds, mysterious voices, and inexplicable movements soon became commonplace, so Darrell called in a paranormal team to come out to investigate. The findings were astounding and so began the private investigations at the school. The hauntings were undeniable, and Darrell’s skepticism began to waver. Over the past 20 years, the Whismans have lived in the building, sharing their home with both the living and the spirits who still call Poasttown home.
