Our Haunted Supper Series at Amber Rose is an exclusive guided paranormal investigation experience. These are intentionally small-group experiences, combining a full dinner with a guided paranormal investigation in one of Dayton’s most active historic buildings.

The History That Never Left Amber Rose

The building that now houses Amber Rose Restaurant was constructed in 1910 by Sigmund Ksiezopolski, long before it became the beloved restaurant it is today.

Originally, the space operated as Sig’s general store and deli, serving as a hub for the North Dayton Polish community. Sig and his large family lived upstairs, using the attic and rear portions of the building as their home, while the front upper area functioned as a recreation room where neighbors gathered, socialized, and shared everyday life.

This building wasn’t just a business.
It was home, and a hub for shopping and entertainment to the community.

And for some, it still is.

Over the years, staff and visitors have reported sightings in the upstairs windows, most often of a woman believed to be Chickie, Sig’s daughter. She is consistently described as having dark hair and wearing a white dress, often seen watching the neighborhood just as she once did in life.

• A guided historical walkthrough of the building

• Small-group guided investigation 

• Time to investigate independently or alongside our guides

Guests are taught simple but effective investigation techniques as the night unfolds
